The pond located at Hwy 34 & Becker Line Rd is one I've watched for years to monitor conditions.  I call it Becker Line Pond.  The pond has shown significant recovery in the last three weeks but is still lower than normal at this time of the year.  On Wednesday, May 1st I first noticed the chorus frogs doing their thing.  After some warm weather the first part of March I noticed buds on my trees and bushes starting to swell, but a cold stretch then put everything on hold until the past few days when everything is now starting to burst.  Conversations about weather continue to center around how badly we need the rain we're getting.
