Trees and shrubs all budding well. Black Walnuts and mulberry starting to blossom. Spongy moth caterpillars seen Friday 5/3 and appear to be all over the area. Lawns green and need weekly mowing. Seedlings and transplants need additional water. Birds are abundant and nesting. Cow on pasture Wednesday.
NYC Reservoirs average at 98.9% of capacity. Consumption was normal at 0.97 billion gallons for the week.
