Start time/duration approximate. No rain at 10:30pm, probably not even at 10:45pm. I had to run it and pull laundry off the line(that we'd left from earlier in the very dry-air day). This would have caught me completely by surprise except I checked the forecast and say something about countries under a warning... Whoa! This rain obviously came on pretty fast and it is also windy. Our last wonderful rain was soaking and gentle, no wind. Hopefully the ground is still pretty soft...whoa! But bolt off lightning and crack of thunder (11:07pm) Sounded like in the background.
Now 11'18 rain send to be effectively done, the sorry blown over. Though another bolt of lightning as I walked out to check the gauge again. So bright! |
