Taken at registered location: True
Notes: Report is based on hail pad dents and the weighing rain gauge chart here at the CSU Weather Station (which bounces when hail falls) Looks like a very brief episode of hail near the end of a 10-15 minute rain. Only about 20 dents on the pad plus soft dents from large rain drops. Storm had a well defined, long-lived (over 25 minute lifetime) wall cloud only a few thousand feet AGL over south Fort Collins with some rotation. Looked like something bad could have developed -- but apparently only a narrow band of heavy rain and hail across part of the city.
