Station Name: Rainsburg 9.0 SSE
Date: 5/23/2013 5:50 PM

Taken at registered location: True
Notes: It was difficult to evaluate the hail because the downpour of rain accompanying it overwhelmed the hail. Hail was only observed as it bounced onto the porch and may have only been the very largest stones. The very largest of those were measured as slightly less than 0.25" and most were less than one eighth inch. The only damage observed was the loss of some seed leaves from pumpkins that had just emerged from the soil and that loss could have been from the pounding rain as much or more than from the trivial hail.
