Notes
It rained from around 5:30pm until 2:30am, often with an intensity that was impressive, although the persistence was the most impressive factor. At 7pm, as I drove home across northern Lancaster county, I remember looking at the limited amount of landscape I could see through the heavy rain and only seeing standing or flowing water everywhere: on farm fields, in orchards, on lawns, and on the highway. It got dark soon after so the ultimate extent of high water was difficult to document. In the 13 years since I started my first CoCoRaHS station, this is the most I have reported between 7am and 7am.
