Thus far in March, we have received 1.53" of precipitation. Most marketable crops need 1-2' per week. We are delaying planting of cool weather crops which means less income for the farm. In wooded areas, ground beneath litter cover the soil is very dry. In lawn areas and growing beds the soil is dry to below 7". Very worried about well water capacity since wells in our neighborhood are running dry
